The World Alliance of Reformed Churches is one of the oldest Christian world communions, with a history stretching back to 1875.

On this site, you will find information about who we are, where we come from, and what we do. You will find news releases from our communications office, and a growing amount of information about our 24th general council (Accra, 2004). Our departments - theology, cooperation and witness, partnership of women and men - are currently developing their own sections of the site, as is the mission in unity project we sponsor together with the John Knox International Reformed Centre.

This WARC site is complemented by the Reformed online project on which we are cooperating with the Johannes a Lasco library in Emden, Germany. Reformed online will, over time, make available on its website our back catalogue of publications, as well as our new books, newsletters and journals.

We hope that the materials we provide in both of these ways will prove useful to you. Welcome to the virtual Reformation.
