Workshop five

Part of the remit of workshop five was to prepare additional worship material for the consultation's closing service at the Greyfriars Church, Edinburgh, on August 28. For the rest, the report of this Workshop to the final plenary session consisted of the Rev Douglas Galbraith teaching participants to sing "a hymn on spelling glory", which is also printed below.

PRAYERS FOR GREYFRIARS

A PRAYER OF APPROACH:

Minister:

Glory be to you, Creator-God: you sent your Son among us to share our shame and hope.

Glory be to you, Lord Jesus Christ: you stand among us and in you all human possibilities are fulfilled.Glory be to you, Holy Spirit: you unsettle us, but you go before us and help us to discover ways of the kingdom Father-Son-Holy Spirit: receive the adoration of your people.
