Dear brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ,

On behalf to the general council of the World Alliance of Reformed Churches, we send you cordial and fraternal greetings.

As we recall the "Glorioso Rimpatrio" we are reminded of Paul's affirmation: "God is faithful through whom you have been called to the communion with his son Jesus Christ, our Lord" (1 Cor 1.9). May the undivided trust in God's promise of those who dared to return to their country three hundred years ago be a source of inspiration to you and all of us, as we continue our common pilgrimage in hope, witness and service.
