On May 19, the general council preparatory committee lost one moderator and gained another: at the First Reformed Church of Astoria in Queens, New York, Anna James was married to Dwayne Jackson. Like Anna, Dwayne is a minister of the Reformed Church in America. He works part-time as pastor of First Astoria and full-time as a PC/LAN analyst. So he can look after the computers in Accra.

Also getting together: Pieter Holtrop, one of WARC's vice-presidents, and Gunilla Gunner, chair of our youth committee, who were married on June 3, the day of Pentecost.
WARC is also laying foundations for the Reformed future. On March 1, Lorena Cecilia was born to Katharina and Odair Pedroso Mateus, secretary of our theology department.
